Inbox Overview
After logging into the Webmail system, you will be taken to your Inbox. The Inbox area consists of three sections:
1. Inbox Top Toolbar
These actions buttons will affect selected/checked messages:
Delete
Mark as unread
Mark as read
Flag message
Clear flag
Redirect to email addresses entered in preceding box
Forward to email addresses entered in preceding box
Search messages
Filter displayed messages using entered text, by selected column
Mailbox options
2. Inbox Messages
Your mailbox displays messages currently saved on the Webmail server. Messages that have been downloaded to your email client software, such as Outlook or MacMail, and deleted from Webmail server will not appear.
Subject lines that are in bold and closed envelope icons indicate emails that have not yet been opened. Click on the sender's name to open the email. For more information, proceed to the next section: "Reading Email".
3. Inbox Bottom Toolbar
These actions buttons will affect selected/checked messages:
Delete
Mark as unread
Mark as read
Flag message
Clear flag
Move item to selected mailbox
Copy item to selected mailbox
