Connecting Your Modem

 

When troubleshooting your internet connection, the first step is to check the status of your cable modem. Identify the brand of your modem, and select it from the list below to view instructions on bringing your modem online:

 


Once your modem is online, verify the connection from it to your computer or router. Your modem should be connected using either an ethernet or USB cable. Our network does not support using both ethernet and USB at the same time.

 

Once your computer is connected to your cable modem, you can proceed with connecting your computer
